Utah Gov. Gary Herbert signed off on a bill to allow research into the health benefits and risks of medical marijuana.

(Reuters Health) – In states that legalized medical marijuana, U.S. hospitals failed to see a predicted influx of pot smokers, but in an unexpected twist, they treated far fewer opioid users, a new study shows.

Canadian marijuana stocks were on a high Monday, amid reports that the government planned to legalize the drug for recreational use by July 1, 2018.
